ITINERARY: Kayaking
Trips
Ocean Kayaking
Explore the nearby rock called Piedra Blanca, 1/2 mile off shore, or kayak along
the bay and stop for lunch at one of the many open-air restaurants along the
beach where fresh seafood is served.
Estuary Kayaking
Paddle up the the San Cristobal, El Pozo or Platanitos estuaries
to explore endless tributaries. Mangrove tree branches are dotted with
birds of prey, waterfowl and iguanas. Fishermen enjoy demonstrating
of their techniques as you go by. El Pozo estuary trips offer a chance
to land at Paraje del Rey, a secluded island paradise for a delicious
seafood lunch.
Kayaking may be guided or self-guided.
Our kayaking trips come with laminated kayaking instructions and bird
identification guides in English, Spanish and other languages.
